SPEAKING ABOUT QUALITY OF LIFE...

Upon reading the report commissioned by the Business Council on Economic Growth in the Roanoke Valley, we researched the cities it compared to Roanoke.  Only Roanoke had no midwives practicing in the hospital or birth center setting.  Most of the cities had a birth center staffed by midwives within 60 miles (1 hour drive).  Several had access to home birth midwives.

 

Access to midwifery care is important to our quality of life. If we want young professionals to move into our area, we must provide services that they desire. Help us build a midwife/physician collaborative practice and freestanding birth center.  Thanks for your support of New Life Birth Center.  We are working to improve the quality of life in the Roanoke Valley.
